Requirements:
- Experience leading a team of engineers on multiple projects
- Experience working with Javascript/Typescript and/or Rust
- Comfortable working with TPM to manage projects
- Work with various Product representatives to prioritize work
- Ability to learn and iterate on complex algorithms
- Highly organized
- Experience designing and running A/B experiments
- Experienced with modern software lifecycle management practices
- 4 years of software development experience
- 1 years of leadership experience
Job focus:
Act as the tech lead a team which is responsible for optimizing media player performance on a variety of end user devices.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Rust
- Experience working with Kotlin
- Experience with Java or Scala
- Familiar with end user devices such as mobile phones, connected devices (XBOX), smart TVs
- Experience integrating with native media/playback on devices
- Experience with HLS and streaming video protocols
