We have an immediate opening for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate & efficient accounting practices.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, flexible schedule
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient with QuickBooks
- Skilled in Excel, particularly with pivot tables and formulas
- Thorough with exceptional accuracy in financial calculations and data entry
- Versatile organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and adept at problem-solving
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to excel in both solitary tasks and teamwork settings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
- Processing payroll in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reconciling employee hours, benefits, and taxes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and reconciling accounts on a regular basis.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, highlighting key financial indicators and performance metrics. Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing variances, and providing insights to improve financial performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure proper allocation of expenses and accurate tracking of project costs.
- Supporting the CFO or senior management in financial analysis and reporting needs. Assisting with the year-end financial audit process, providing necessary documentation, and resolving any audit findings.
- Staying up to date with accounting principles, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all financial activities. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing streamlined accounting procedures.
