What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arabic Instructor position at Al-Qalam?
The Arabic Department at Al-Qalam invites qualified instructors to apply for an instructional position teaching Arabic.
The potential instructor is expected:
- To follow a fully developed curriculum spanning multiple levels.
- The instructor is expected to complete one level each semester. The full program is completed in six semesters (i.e., two years).
- The instructor must commit to teaching the full program.
- Delivery of the course is in-person (online sections may be available).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic studies or related education.
- Experience teaching in a professional educational setting.
The potential instructor should submit the following:
- CV/Resume
- Copy of the transcript for highest degree earned.
- One professional reference; more than one is preferred, max of three.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
