At Alabama Goodwill Industries, our Mission is to help change lives through the power of work. We serve our community by providing employment development services and placement assistance for employment. Our programs are supported with profits generated through the sale of donated goods in our Retail Stores.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures 100% donor and customer delight
- Assists Team Leader Coach (TLC) with day to day operations, production
- Adds merchandise to the sales floor as needed
- Keeps sales floor clean, tidy and organize
- Other duties as assigned by TLC or designate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year in a retail environment preferred
- Good work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with policies and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain good relationships with co-workers
- Willingness to learn
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to lift and carry objects
- Ability to use repetitive hand movement when buttoning, sorting, hanging, and zipping garments
- Ability to engage in prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping and stretching
