Metal fabricator in Streetsboro, Ohio is seeking a Planner Scheduler with a passion for Safety, Accountability, Customer Focus, Respect, and Teamwork. The Planning Scheduler is responsible for supporting the overall planning and scheduling process.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and enter all work orders & releases
- Prepare and issue weekly capacity reports.
- Weekly WO management
- Identify discrepancies in work orders and production planning schedule
- Schedule production for all work centers
- Coordinate and distribute Daily Schedules, for all work centers as assigned
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to production schedule
- Daily communication with customer service and planner
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Various problem solving requests
- Know the company quality policy and quality objectives and understand their role in the achievement of these objectives
- Provide continuous improvement ideas
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: 3 years of progressive materials experience
- Computer skills: must be competent in MS Office, ERP
- APICS preferred
