Pay: $150,000 - $160,000 per year

Position Summary:
Falck is seeking a Business Finance Officer to support multiple operations and locations. The BFO is the primary partner to the Managing Directors of Falck operations. This position plays a large role in increasing operational efficiencies and overall business performance of the operation. The BFO reports to the Falck USA CFO. This position is based in our Hayward, CA location and may require occasional travel to other locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Managing Director to manage the operations’ P&L
- Monitor operational and financial KPIs to determine opportunities for improvement for both revenue and cost control
- Lead quarterly financial forecasting process
- Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and Accounting/AP/Payroll
- Work with management team and support functions to implement revenue and cost control initiatives and track effectiveness. Support functions include Revenue Cycle Management/Billing and People and Culture
- Participate in negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, including analyzing economic impacts and recommending options for consideration
- Conduct pricing analyses for new customer contracts or contract renewals
- Organize and present detailed information in concise visual formats
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- MBA or Masters degree in a related field strongly preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic planning required
- Experience working in the US healthcare industry is desired, but not required
- Strong understanding of business operations and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated experience simplifying complex concepts into concise visual formats
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel, as needed
