What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Server position at Alamite Hotel?
POSITION PROFILE:
Responsible for greeting guests and taking care of all of their needs during their visit. You will greet the guests, take their orders, answer questions about the menu, food, and cocktails, upsell, take payments, communicate with the chef and hostesses and help out in others areas as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve drinks and food to guests following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Check customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age.
- Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures.
- Know and comply with state liquor laws, obtain Tips certification.
- Ensure established pars are maintained.
- Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
