Requirements:Position Summary:
Bush Hog is one of the most recognized and successful names in the Agricultural Market. The Assembler II is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the Company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. The Assembler II assembles multiple types of high quality Bush Hog products. Must learn and become familiar with four of the five types of assembly lines (may include Single Spindle, Finish Mower, Multi-Spindle, Flex-Wing or Zero Turn Lines). Reviews and performs manual labor in different production lines when needed in order to satisfy work orders. Ensure that products are assembled properly to meet Bush Hog standards. Work under immediate supervision and must work closely with others in order to successfully finish work orders in a timely manner. Operate hoist, dollies and pallet jacks in order to move products and parts throughout the assembly line.

Essential Functions of the Job:
- Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings.
- Communicate with other departments as needed to guarantee availability of required parts.
- Operate essential tools and equipment needed for the assembly of products.
- Ensure correct parts are used in each assembly line.
- Inspect products in order to guarantee safety and quality control.
- Examine work orders to identify special requests or changes in assembly.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace before, during and after assembly.
- Identify problems with manufacturing or locate assembly defects when needed.
- Ensure quality control in all built subassembly parts.
- Assemble Bush Hog mower products.
- Interpret a variety of blueprints for each product.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
- Knowledge and ability to read assembly sales orders and build to sales order specification.
- Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure).
- Basic math, writing and reading skills needed.
- Must be able to be certified and able to operate a forklift.
- Minimum dexterity required in order to operate the necessary tools used in assembly.
- Must be able to work in different locations during different times of the day.
- Ability to operate under pressure.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Required standing and/or walking for full shift required.
- Frequent bending, stooping and lifting required.
- Exercise good verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be able to speak, hear and see to perform duties to communicate with team members.
- Skilled to assemble on three or more lines at any given time.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 years experience as an Assembler I required.

Work in excess of 40 hours per week; as needed to meet production schedule. Working conditions include working in cramped spaces and stand approximately 10 hours per day. Will need to be able to stoop and reach around on a constant basis. The environment will be working in a non-climate controlled manufacturing plant.
