What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Alamo1?
We’re looking for a reliable Program Manager to plan projects and oversee their progress in an effective manner to meet deadlines and stay within budget. The job will be located in the Midland/ Odessa TX area. Someone who will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture. Will also need to develop efficient strategies and tactics. Our goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage projects from start to finish, including but not limited to all of the following:
- Proven ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Ability to prepare cost estimates, budgets and work timetables
- Manage project staff, subcontractors and operations to meet budget and profit goals
- Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals
- Report work progress and budget matters to clients
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and other construction specialists
- Select subcontractors and schedule/coordinate their activities
- Respond to work delays, emergencies and other problems
- Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes and other regulations
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of/fluent in Microsoft Office products
- Must be willing to visit and work at Project Sites as required.
- Must be very organized, Project Manager must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time.
- Must be willing to travel (conduct site visit with client, kickoff meetings for projects, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Program Management/Construction/Environmental in conjunction with at least 1 year of experience; or no degree and at least 4 years’ experience.
