Job Posting for Office Manager Home Health at Alaphia Care
The core of this position is to maintain employee records for compliance purposes, as well as working with a small team to be sure the overall office is running smoothly. Your job will be to check with staffing department to be sure our clients are getting staffed properly, as well the marketing department to gauge the flow and effectiveness of new clients coming on board. You will be in charge of managing an overall small team to be sure from A to Z, start to finish, when a client comes on board with us to receive care, that everything goes smoothly. In addition, when a client needs an in-home assessment or visit you may go to their home for a spot check to be sure our caregiver is providing proper care.
The hours for this position will be full time 5 days/wk Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for receptionist duties and general office support.
Maintain logs and patient assignment list.
Maintain Administration Binder with all insurances, records, etc. for Auditing purposes
Maintain a clean office environment
Update status of patients including admissions and discharges.
Verify accuracy of data entry from completed admission.
Maintain recertification of insurance benefits per Billing Procedures Manual.
Track Recertification Periods and alerts Patient Care Manager of upcoming re-certifications.
File and keep employee records current.
Prepare for Interdisciplinary Group meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years working in an office setting
Ability to handle a high volume of calls while delivering exceptional customer service (healthcare &/or home health industry experience an asset)
Ability to multitask and prioritize
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (Additional language skills considered an asset)
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Proficient in Word, Outlook and ability to learn proprietary software
Medical terminology knowledge an asset but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
