Responsibilities: The Repair Shop Administrator performs a variety of tasks to oversee the organization of the Repair Shop. General responsibilities include the following tasks:
- Entering vehicle service and repair information into multiple computer applications
- Communicating priorities of repair orders to technicians based on operational needs
- Researching, ordering, and receiving vehicle service and repair parts
- Managing inventory of all stocked shop commodity, service and repair parts
- Communicating and coordinating with parts and outside service vendors
- Monitoring and communicating repair order status updates
- Accurately filing and maintaining complete vehicle service and repair records
- Accurately filing and maintaining complete repair parts invoice records
- Providing accurate and timely repair shop related reports
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be punctual
- Must own a smartphone
- Must consistently display a positive attitude
- Must possess good verbal communication skills
- Must possess good problem solving skills
- Must possess good basic math skills
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
- Must be teachable by being a good listener and willing to continually learn new skills
