Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour.

Job Summary: The Facilities Engineer will provide facilities maintenance services for the property management business. The employee will report to the Assistant Facilities Manager and will be stationed remotely across facilities in the Seattle, Redmond and Mukilteo Metro areas. The schedule for this position is full-time. Individual will be provided with a company vehicle, tools and cell phone after 90 days.
Requirements to be Considered For Position:

- Must have a valid driver's license and reasonably clean driving record.
Required Essential Job Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in facilities management or related trades.
- Able to read, write, utilize computer/mobile applications and communicate fluently in English.
- Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical & plumbing systems.
- Ability to complete small carpentry, drywall, and painting projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, prioritize tasks and work as part of a team.
- Self-directed and motivated to complete work efficiently and professionally.
Required Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Perform duties assigned through work orders. Document work performed, including status, technician notes, labor hours, and work details, utilizing Yardi Facility Manager mobile application.
- Coordinate project schedules with maintenance vendors. Notify tenants of project timelines. Ensure that vendor work is completed to a high standard and with minimal tenant disruption.
- Perform routine inspections. Document and communicate deferred maintenance by creating work orders. Make repairs as necessary.
- Efficiently resolve maintenance and work order requests. Identify and investigate how to create long term solutions
- Communicate in a professional, service-oriented manner with tenants, their guests, vendors, and team members.
Desirable Job Skills/Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- R-410, indoor air quality certification, PM certification, EPA certifications.
- Experience with customer service, property management, facilities management or construction. Comfortable reading building plans.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager or other property management software.
- COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
