Job Posting for Mail Carrier at Alaskan Mail Services
Looking for full time and part time mail carrier to deliver mail in Morton, Washington. $180 per day with vehicle and fuel provided. Looking for organized, dependable, fast learner who wants to work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Able to work in the United States
Have a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years
No driving violations for at least 5 years (suspension, speeding tickets DUI etc.)
Clean criminal history
Duties include but are not limited to:
Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 318 active boxes.
Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
Delivering mail along an assigned 60-mile line-of-travel.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Work in extreme weather conditions (cold, heat, rain etc.)
Other administrative duties are required.
Running second trip parcel runs depending on volume.
You must abide by all USPS rules and regulations.
Customer Service
Pay and hours:
$150 per day when training. $180 per day after training.
Hours vary depending on mail volume. 7:45am – 4:00pm
6-8 hour route depending on volume, experience, and performance.
PTO, holiday pay, and holiday bonus. NO medical benefits at this time.
Some flexibility in schedule.
Day Shift – Full Time - Generally, 4-6 days per week.
Day Shift - Part time - Generally, 1-2 days per week.
