Job Responsibilities:
- Processing files associated with Replevins, Landlord/Tenant Evictions, Personal property Evictions and Post Foreclosure Evictions
- Preparing Eviction Pleadings, Motions, Etc.; such as Writs, Motions for Judgment, Motions to Vacate, Consents, Affidavits and Notices
- Preparing Replevin Pleadings, Motions, Etc.; such as Complaints, Summons, Hearing Notices, Order of delivery
- Calculating amounts for notices and affidavits
- Setting and calendaring hearings related to Eviction and Replevin cases
- Following up with courts and clerks regarding ongoing Eviction/Replevin cases and appeals
- Communicating and coordinating with local Sheriff offices to schedule lockouts and repossessions
- Daily communication with clients, courts, defendants and tenants in a professional manner.
- Research on-line Court files for documents.
- Data Entry in multiple Third Party web systems.
Job Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years of experience working in foreclosure, evictions, or real estate.
- Working knowledge of foreclosure and real estate transactions.
- Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented, and highly productive manner.
- Legal experience in the eviction field.
- Knowledge of local filing requirements both county and circuit.
- Perfect Practice case management knowledge a plus.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer (Excel a Must) ;
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment.
- Ability to problem solve and research court requirements in multi-states and counties.
