What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chocolate Operator Shift B position at ALBANESE CONFECTIONERY GROUP INC.?
UNDERSTANDING
Chocolate Operators are essential to the production of Chocolate confectionery products. Through training and
development, they maintain and operate multiple pieces of food production equipment. Simply stated, they produce
various food products utilizing milk/dark chocolate, white yogurt, and special flavorings for roasting meat nuts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and inspect raw materials against specifications.
- Inspect equipment and verify operational status.
- Monitor machines by setting up, operating, adjusting, and sanitizing as frequently as directed.
- Perform changeovers on production equipment.
- Identify non-conformances as necessary.
- Follow SOP’s for production runs and changeovers.
- Execute daily/weekly production schedules as assigned.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly/annual production KPI’s (Key Process Indicators).
- Complete Lot Tracking, production paperwork, quality Assurance forms and production reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to maintain sanitary conditions for Food Safety.
- Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator)
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
- Must comply with HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Standards
- Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus.
EDUCATION
- Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D

Salary : $30,700 - $38,800
