What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery position at Albertsons?
Baker 5 shifts 3am-12p
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate ovens, and other baking equipment to ensure proper cooking and baking times
- Decorate and garnish baked goods as necessary
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust settings as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and production needs
Skills:
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
