Finance Office
The Institutional Accountant is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data. You will review the University's accounting or even financial records to determine how they are performing financially. The financial analysts will use the information to make recommendations on which investments to make, which businesses to support, etc. He/She is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis to support company decision making. The financial analyst will also be responsible for developing financial models to support business decisions and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Mínimum Requirements
- BBA and or Master’s in business, accounting, finance, economic or related field.
- Four (4) to Six (6) years’ experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
- Experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or consulting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Synoptix a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently or in teams, stay focused, and finish projects on time.
- Knowledge in matters related to fund management and proposals.
- Familiar with management principles such as organizational development, planning, operations logistic, and project management.
- Analytical and communication skills and will be able to work independently.
- Strong leadership skills and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship.
- Work cooperatively and productively with multiple constituencies, both internal and external.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Resolve problems and develop scenarios, alternatives, and recommendations.
- Manage multiple tasks, be organized and detail oriented.
- Work under pressure.
- Capacity to work independently and as a part of a project team to reach goals while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from institutional members and stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of Spanish and English languages.
