MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION: To coordinate with site administration on operations, maintenance, and student nutrition programs.
Skills:
RESPOSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains fiscal responsibility for the student nutrition budget.
2. Manages food and supply ordering.
3. Provides training for staff that meets the USDA Professional Standards for Child Nutrition Programs.
4. Plan remodeled kitchen facilities in collaboration with administration, Governance Council, and Foundation Board.
5. Identifies replacement equipment needs, obtains pricing, creates purchase orders, and coordinates equipment installation. Prepares Requests for Bids or Proposals and contracts for equipment repairs.
6. Coordinates menu plans and standardized recipes to effectively use USDA Foods, Processed Commodities, and purchased food, while meeting meal pattern requirements and budget goals.
7. Procures all food and supplies, meeting all state and federal procurement standards.
8. Assists in the identification of possible safety or maintenance concerns. Works with contractors or employees to obtain pricing, create purchase orders, etc. to address needed repairs, etc.
9. Other duties as assigned.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
SUPERVISES: Student nutrition staff and maintenance staff
TERMS OF EMPLOYEMENT: Work year will be in accord with current schedule for 233-day employees. The Executive Director will determine salary.
