POSITION: Quality Supervisor
STATUS: Exempt

DIRECT REPORTS: QC Techs

LOCATION: Winslow, ME
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervisors Alcom’s Quality Team and final inspection processes at our Sioux Falls, South Dakota facility. Works with Corporate Quality Manager to ensure Quality control inspection criteria and processes are in place. The position involves material inspection, welding and metal fabrication inspection, assembly processes, and finished trailer inspection processes focusing on workmanship and meeting customer order specifications.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises Quality assurance processes by working closely with Engineering and Production.
- Supervises Quality control inspection processes.
- Trains and provides performance feedback to Quality Inspectors.
- Creates prevention plans for reoccurring issues and concerns.
- Assures training includes the necessary elements supporting quality at his/her plant.
- Assures compliance with regulatory agencies that support required safety standards for trailers.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quality management experience within a manufacturing, construction, or equivalent leadership role.
- Experience supervising and managing direct reports desired.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read prints and work orders.
