Construction Laborer: We are recruiting for a full-time construction laborer to work specifically on our concrete or metal building crew. Work may include, but is not limited to, physical labor supporting demolition, building structures, erecting pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roofing, metal siding, trim work, steel decking, structural steel erection, welding, dirt work, construct concrete forms, tie rebar, mix and pour cement, finish concrete, clean work sites, operate power tools and equipment, and driving.

Prior construction experience is required. Experience in concrete or with pre-engineered metal buildings is strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to get to and from the job is also required.

Must be reliable, safety conscious, able to take direction and work with others. Position requires ability to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and tolerate heights as well as exert heavy physical effort. Work environment is typically outside on construction sites and may require work in confined spaces. May work on multiple job sites per day. Travel outside of the San Luis Valley is occasionally required.

Starting wage depends on experience but will likely be between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour. Paid time off starts accruing immediately. Medical, dental and vision insurance are offered after a short waiting period. The company offers a Simple IRA with a company match after one year of employment. Bonuses are discretionary.
