Outside Forklift Operator

Alcrete Industries is a manufacturer of precast concrete products used in new construction. The company’s products include round Manholes, Catch Basins, Culverts, Curb Inlets, Drop Inlets, Headwalls, Junction Boxes, and Reinforced Concrete Pipe. Alcrete Industries’ product is primarily for the movement of storm water purchased by excavating, utility, grading, and site contractors.

Alcrete Industries operates from precast manufacturing facilities located in Pell City, Alabama and Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Position Overview:

As a member of this team, you will share the responsibilities for unloading incoming freight, inventorying all the products that come out of the factory, load finished goods for delivery, maintain the condition of the yard, keep the trash and debris cleared, move forms and buckets when necessary, keep rebar in the racks, perform basic daily checks on their equipment, operate the equipment safely and in a manner that does not do damage to the equipment or the product, be a team player.

Must have previous Forklift experience. Position is primarily outside and requires candidate to be hardworking, multitasking, self-motivated and able to interact with employees and customers.

Candidate must be in good physical health and able to climb on and off flat bed trailers, lift 50 pounds occasionally.

6:45 am until 5:00 pm or finished, Monday through Friday. Typically 40-45 hours per week. After probationary period, employees are eligible for paid Holidays, paid Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, 401K plan, uniforms. Must be able to pass drug test. No Health Care available at this time.
