Remote Central Intake Referral Review Nurse – Must live in Illinois and have Skilled Nursing Facility experience
The Central Intake Department of Alden Network reviews patient clinical information sent by referral sources and assesses for appropriateness for admission to our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
Team members of this department work remotely; however, occasional in-person meetings or attendance at events will be required. Most desirable applicants will possess either an RN or LPN license, however, non-licensed healthcare professionals with a strong background in SNF or long-term care and understanding of clinical terminology will be considered. Professional written communication skills, the ability to self-motivate and work independently, and exceptional computer and typing skills are essential. This role works in collaboration with our facility admission team members as well as our liaison/sales teams, so collaborative capabilities are also a must.
The primary focus of this role is on census development by expediting timeliness of responses to our referral sources as well as increasing volume of accepted patients.
