• Required | Must be 18 years of age or older
• Required | Open schedule availability
• Required | Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals (English)
• Required | Valid WA Food Worker Card (within 14 days after hire)
• Desirable | Experience in a commercial kitchen
• No prior experience required!

Your day-to-day as a Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher)

Join our kitchen crew as a Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) and help keep the heart of our resort humming! You'll be in charge of making sure dishes sparkle, pots are scrubbed, and the kitchen stays spotless, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Your job will include:

• Operating the dish machine to wash dishes, glassware, and utensils, ensuring their correct storage.
• Handwashing pots, pans, and trays as needed.
• Keeping the kitchen, including floors, mats, and dishwashing areas, clean through sweeping, mopping, and managing the dishwashing area setup or breakdown.
• Handling waste disposal, including trash removal to the dumpster, and maintaining cleanliness around the kitchen's exterior, loading dock, and dumpster area.
• Adhering to safety standards by monitoring dish machine temperatures and practicing appropriate hand hygiene.
• Assisting with the delivery and setup of the employee meal area.

The position experiences some variation in temperature and a moderate level of noise in the work environment.
