We are currently looking for a seasonal administrative assistant to join our team for the 2022 tax season. This person will work closely with our team to assist with organizing and scanning documents and providing exceptional service and deliverables to our clients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively manage their time and maintain a realistic balance amongst multiple projects. They will also be adaptable, detail oriented, organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Scan documents into system and ensure accurate filing into respective client binders
- Assist team members with daily tasks and finding solutions to administrative needs as they arise
- Provide support with daily mail operations including receiving, reviewing, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist in facilitating information sharing between Aldrich offices and coordinate firm mailings and publications (newsletters, annual mailings and others as necessary)
- Provides other support as requested
Qualifications
- One-year certificate from college or technical school
- 3 to 6 months of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (office administrative experience or experience working in a customer service role is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Actively seeks out ways for improvement while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work effectively independently
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, and under pressure with unexpected and frequent interruptions, changes and/or delays
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Sound judgment and ability to exercise complete discretion when dealing with clients and confidential information
