Position Summary
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the performance and attendance of a team of A/R Analysts performing invoice submission, issue resolution and collections duties for the Accounting department. The Supervisor will ensure the team meets departmental standards for quality of work and quantity of accounts and invoices reviewed and ensure team members conduct themselves in a professional manner. This position is fully remote.
Essential Duties/Primary Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 8-12 A/R Analysts.
- Mentor and facilitate training for each A/R Team member.
- Oversee the quality of collection notes, quantity of invoices and/or accounts reviewed by the team and assist with problem solving.
- Provide the first level of escalation for any issues that arise
- Escalate client problems to Department manager according to escalation guidelines.
- Conduct weekly team meetings which should incorporate team training sessions.
- Conduct bi-weekly one on one meetings to review productivity and performance.
- Conduct monthly portfolio reviews with A/R analysts to identify & resolve issues.
- Respond to inquiries timely and accurately.
- Review performance and takes corrective measures with authorization
- Create and maintain work aids and SOP’s
- Identify and document root cause issues.
- Responsible for maintaining workflow
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred; high school diploma required.
- Two years of professional experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
- Experience in one of the following areas (billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable, cash application, accounts payable) preferred.
- Experience using an ERP platform (Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
- Experience using invoicing platforms ((Black Knight’s LoanSphere, CoreLogic’s iClear, Altisource’s REALRemit), Serengeti, and Data Cert preferred.
- This position will be fully remote.
