Medical Assistant - boutique Primary Care Practice (Highlands Ranch/Littleton) Highlands Ranch/Littleton, CO 80129 Boutique-style Internal Medicine practice (MDVIP practice model) in Highlands Ranch is looking for a Medical Assistant. Full-time position. We Offer: A pleasant, non-hurried environment that focuses on a great patient experience, with excellent employee benefits. • PTO • Paid Holidays • 401(k) employer match program PLUS a generous Employer Non-Elective Contribution (whether the employee contributes to the 401(k) or not) • Employer contribution to Health insurance (we contribute 50% of the employee health insurance cost) Vision insurance at a very low monthly rate Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (plus generous benefits which comprise the total compensation package) Front and back-office responsibilities including: • Answering phones • Checking patients in/out • Rooming patients and taking vital signs, injections, EKG’s, spirometry • Clean and stock rooms • Lab and patient callbacks • Patient education • Assisting the physician Requirements: • EMR experience (Athena experience most helpful) • Excellent phlebotomy skills • Strong documentation skills • Positive and mentoring personality with good communication skills • Consistent attention to detail • Excellent work ethic and follow-through • Superior attendance reliability and promptness • Dedication to extraordinary, personalized patient care, with a focus on preventative medicine and assisting the team in the coordination of every aspect of the patient's health care. • In our boutique practice, the one-on-one relationships, and the ability to think ahead to anticipate our patients' needs is of the utmost importance • Demonstrate professional behavior with staff, physicians, co-workers, patients, and families to create a positive work environment • People management skills a plus Job Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am- 5 pm Job Type: Full-time.
