Sage Benefit Advisors, an Alera Group Company, is seeking an Individual Health Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, and for selling individual health insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the individual health insurance market, and will be able to effectively communicate the benefits of our products to clients.
Sage Benefit Advisors, An Alera Group Agency is Colorado’s premier health insurance and employee benefits firm. Our Colorado health insurance brokers offer free health insurance consulting and enrollment support for individuals, families, and businesses. We work with every health insurance company in the state. All of our brokers live and work in Colorado and are Certified by Connect for Health Colorado. In addition, our office is an authorized enrollment center for Connect for Health Colorado.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
- Sell individual health insurance policies
- Provide customer service to clients
- Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Attend industry events
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of the individual health insurance market is preferred, but on the job training will be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
- Hourly rate Commissions
