Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or Computer Science or Business Information Systems
- Minimum 2 years of SQL experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Database security administration experience
- Minimum 2 years of using performance tuning and query optimization techniques experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience working with virtual teams
- Experience with ETL tools including Data Services, SSIS, and SLT
- Experience with Tableau or similar dashboarding tools
- Experience specifically in data warehousing solutions
- Experience in Agile best practices
- Demonstrated expertise with both SQL Server and Oracle
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development practices
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Expected to work independently in a supporting and diverse team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
- Understanding of data lifecycle and interpreting and communicating the state of data throughout the processing pipeline
- Ability to document technical solutions in support of standards and best practices
- Basic knowledge of networking components and how they interact with applications (Firewalls, Load balancers, Switches, DNS)
