Position Requirements
- Bachelors / Associates degree in a technical, industrial, or business field and 3-5 years of experience.
- Position reports directly to the project department manager.
- Experience in delivering major and minor projects within targeted cost and schedule.
- Proven leadership of multi-discipline project teams with up to twenty (20) resources.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for the relaying of critical cost, schedule and project data to internal and external customers.
- Ability to translate customer requests and needs into detailed scope execution plans and deliverables list.
- Team player, collaborating on a daily basis with mechanical and electrical design, contracted vendors, construction trades, and client resources to define, design and execute projects, from R&D through rollout while exceeding customer and project requirements.
- Dexterity to transition between multiple projects and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure proper staffing levels, with appropriate discipline leaders, are in place to meet project objectives.
- Promote option analysis to deliver cost savings while improving end results
- Deliver project objectives with improved technical success.
- Develop processes to improve cost performance and efficiency
- Supervision of technical design discipline resources as it pertains to scope execution.
- Availability to travel domestic and occasionally international to customer facilities for project scope alignment, kickoff or design reviews.
- Develop vendor relationships and supply management of equipment orders & material requirements; communicate status to project team.
