Resident Experience Associate
As a Resident Experience Associate you are responsible for setting the tone of the building. You will be the first point of contact for current and prospective residents coming and going from the building, providing a high level of hospitality to every interaction. The ideal candidate will love engaging with people, have a 'can do' attitude and be a natural problem solver.
How you'll help us to be successful:
- Greet guests from the standing position, with a genuine smile. If a call is in process, acknowledge guests with a smile and hand gesture, letting them know you will be with them Momentarily.
- Remember people's names and apartment numbers.
- Ensure the building is safe and secure, and that all building rules are followed by residents and employees
- Partner with residents to ensure they are maximizing the building amenities and associated technology.
- Maintain a positive, courteous, welcoming attitude in all interactions with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and co-workers.
- Receive, scan in and out packages, dry cleaning, laundry, etc. to residents with required signatures in accordance to company policy.
- Provide keys to vendors or residents, when needed.
- Manage and monitor Alfred OS, Yardi Concierge/Rent Café or similar resident communication tool.
- Be able to recommend restaurants, coffee shops, nightclubs, music venues, etc. to residents.
- Keep a log of all activities throughout the shift period.
- Routinely check email, voicemail throughout the day and respond accordingly.
- Partner with the building management team on planning, setting up and attending onsite events.

Who you are
- 1-3 years of customer service or experience as a concierge/ front desk
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Takes initiative and possess a can do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time, maneuver in small spaces, bend, and grip with your hands
- Clearly understand Google Suite and Microsoft Suite office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.), Google Maps and the Internet.
- Experience with Yardi and Rent Café a plus.
- Understand and use the computer keyboard and telephone quickly and accurately.
- Flexible schedules are required including weekends, late evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to work indoors mostly. Occasionally outdoors, all conditions.
- Able to execute the Property Emergency Plan in cases of emergency.
