IT SPECIALIST
SUMMARY
The IT Specialist will install and configure workstations and provide support for all technology hardware and software problems within the school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Installing hardware and software
Maintaining and repairing equipment (laptops, desktops, printers, IP phones, scanners, copy machines, etc.)
Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues on both Mac and PC systems
Setting up computer security measures
Assisting in monitoring and completion of tech requests
Troubleshooting and repairing Promethean boards and projectors
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of technology assets
Provide network accounts and passwords as required
Monitor security of all technology
Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of related experience
Relevant software certifications
