POSITION TITLE: Content Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and creating multiple forms of B2B content that will drive awareness and buying decisions for our bill pay platform. The Content Marketing Manager will create content strategies, generate new content ideas, write short-form print and digital content, and partner with internal subject matter experts and external writers.


RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Generate compelling short-form copy for print, web, video and social. Materials include product fact sheets, case studies, web pages, sales slides, LinkedIn.
  • Direct external writers for long-form writing of white papers, brochures, blogs.
  • Identify ways to leverage content across all marketing and sales channels.
  • Gather product information by interviewing internal subject matter experts and clients.
  • Utilize a metric driven approach to determine which materials and programs are most effective and leverage these learnings to adjust future activity.
  • Understand key corporate, business, and product objectives and convey messages that support them in all sales and marketing collateral.
  • Understand customer needs and be able to incorporate a client perspective into communications.
  • Manage project schedules utilizing the online project management software Wrike.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, including relevant experience in B2B technology marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to create impactful marketing messages demonstrated through writing samples
  • Experience in B2B content generation and marketing in the digital space
  • Passion for innovation and utilizing a structured testing approach to find new wins
  • Understanding of basic SEO strategies, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe proficiency
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High energy level. Self-starter; willing to take initiative.
