Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks to input and update immigration applications, documents, and information using eCerenade. Must be fluent in Spanish . Must be familiar with Immigration Forms and types of applications for Visas, Consular process, adjustment of status, and waivers.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Translate the client's information and other documents from Spanish to English as required by each immigration application.
- Proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies.
- Assist with filing immigration documents with courts and government agencies.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals as needed.
- Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and manage legal documents.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with visa petition cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. - Proficient in using computer software for data entry, word processing, and document management.
- Familiarity with immigration/legal terminology and procedures is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a clerical or similar administrative/clerical role is a plus.
