The Role
The Team Growth Coordinator will support the implementation of a series of learning & growth opportunities that have been curated for Alight’s management team, country program senior leaders, emerging talent globally, and US-Roving staff. With support from the GTB Lead, they will draft communications, coordinate sign-ups, manage follow-up communication, support learning opportunity implementation, and other administrative support to execute the learning programming.
Simply put, we aim to provide meaningful learning & growth opportunities that will help unleash leaders worldwide to foster belonging within their teams.
What you’ll work on
Building a shared organization takes time and intention. We will always be becoming Alight, which means your work will evolve as well. For now, here’s how you could anticipate spending your time:
Communications - 30%
- Draft communications for learning opportunity overview, sign-up/registration, and post session follow-up.
- Ensure communications are clear, concise, and relevant to each audience.
- Ensure communications are accessible; this may mean adapting communications to email, WhatsApp, or other social communication platforms.
- Manage follow-up communication with learning participants, ensure they have all of the information they need related to the opportunity,
- Interface with learning consultants as directed to facilitate the learning engagement
Coordination & Administration – 30%
- Maintain up to date lists of participants sign up and attendance
- Communicate scheduling and sign-up updates to GTB Lead
- Follow-up with staff/learners as needed
- Administer post-session follow up tools including surveys for feedback to participants and their managers
Session Implementation – 30%
- Join learning sessions when possible
- Troubleshoot IT and connection issues leading up to and during the session
- Ahead of the session, coordinate hot spots or other accommodations to ensure learners can participate
Other / General – 10%
- Establish and maintain resource bank to make learning materials / content accessible
- Other duties as assigned
The skills and experience we’re seeking
- Prefer 1 years in an administrative or coordination position
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to communicate with diverse audiences with professionalism, warmth, and grace
- Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with some experience in multicultural environments.
- Passion for learning, growth, development, and organizational culture-building
- Interest in humanitarian or development work
- Familiarity with Excel and/or databases
- Customer service experience and a devotion to customer experience
- Attention to detail
- Curiosity and a natural problem solver – proactive to ask questions as well as dig in and do research to build knowledge, context, and discover new things
