What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Align Home Care?
Assist clients with Activities Of Daily Living, which may include bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and transferring
Assist with Instrumental Activities Of Daily Living which may include:
Prepare meals following client’s prescribed dietary restrictions, preferences
Change bed linens wash / iron laundry, light housekeeping (no more than 20% of time in a shift)
Conduct basic errands, such as grocery shopping (keeping receipts with Client Binder)
Provide transportation services (May use client’s car if they have one or is requested)
Incorporate aspects of our Balanced approach to care into each shift with clients; ie go for a walk, visit a local senior center, play a board game, companionship. (Many examples available!)
Perform other care related duties as assigned by your supervisors
Assume a committed and attentive attitude to the welfare of the client
Report any possible signs of Elder Abuse (mandated reporter)

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
