What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at ALIGN PRECISION?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• General cleaning of property
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and offices
• Sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash, recycle, and garbage containers
• Assist in minor maintenance projects
• Operate floor cleaning equipment
• Notify management of need for repairs to equipment
• Clean snow and debris from walkways and entry/exit areas
Competencies:
• Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
• Planning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently.
• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions
Education and/or Experience:
• High School Degree (GED) desired
• Work experience in industrial or commercial work environment
Skill Sets:
• Manual skills related to facility maintenance
• Knowledge about basic repair work
• Ability to manage time and work in fast-pace environment
Physical Demands:
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
