Job Description
We are seeking a dental office front desk receptionist to become a part of our team!
Work hours are Mondays 8:00 AM - 5 PM, Tuesdays 9:00 AM - 5 PM, Wednesdays 11 AM - 7 PM, Thursdays 9 AM - 5 PM, Fridays 8 AM - 2 PM.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Answers telephone.
• Communicates with Patients in a courteous, professional, cooperative and mature manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to collect medical office charges, post charges to patient accounts, etc.
• Accurately enters procedures codes with correct diagnosis.
• Accurately reconciles charges for the day.
• Accurately prepares daily deposits.
• File Insurance claims
• Insurance network credentialing and renewing for dentist.
• Update Patients personal information
• Ordering supplies, etc.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the office
• Providing assistance in the office with tasks such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, telephone management, and billing
• Manage patient records, filing, and recall systems.
• Occasional chairside assisting.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the dental office
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and improve as an individual
