Account Executive

Our client, now in their 47th year in the Souvenir Business, selling to Zoo's, Aquariums, Museums, Theme Parks, Airport Shops, Cruise Ships, and Souvenir Gift Shops is seeking a high energy, motivated, and well-organized experienced Sales & Marketing individual with a strong business acumen. The role of Account Executive will have a proven track record for owning key accounts, fostering relationships, effectively negotiating, and delivering results. 

Responsibilities for this position focus on:

• Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
• Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
• Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn into long-term partnerships
• Present products to prospective clients
• Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
• Remain in frequent contact with the clients to understand their needs
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming at customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
• Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) a plus! 
• Able to travel to 4 to 6 trade shows per year
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing 
• Enjoy challenges and problem-solving!
• Desires to be a dynamic contributor and individual on a team; not a number!
• Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
• Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Organizational and time-management skills
• A business acumen
• Enthusiastic and passionate!
• BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing

Location/Job Type: This role is a full-time salaried role. The team environment is crucial to the success of this role and requires work to be performed in-office (when not traveling or visiting customers) in the client's Hallandale, FL office.
