The Total Rewards Consultant is a newly created role within Alignment Healthcare Human Capital, reporting to the AVP, Total Rewards. We are looking for someone with Compensation experience, but also with interest and curiosity in learning and experiencing other areas of Total Rewards.
Bring your knowledge of market pricing data and analysis, annual compensation cycles, with interest in continuing that work but also learning other areas of Total Rewards. Position Summary:
The Total Rewards Consultant provides market data and analysis to support our Human Capital Business Partners, the Talent Acquisition team, and leaders. This role will help drive efforts to enhance our compensation and total rewards infrastructure. This position is a great opportunity to continue to deepen compensation experience, while also learning and contributing to other areas, such as health benefits, 401(k) plan management and stock grant administration.
General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):
Contribute to the evolution of our Total Rewards programs. You will play a key role in the delivery of new compensation related initiatives. You will work closely with the Total Rewards leader, Human Capital Business Partners and the Human Capital team on all Compensation related initiatives, stock grant processes and Benefits program analyses.
Compensation:
· Provide market data analysis and expertise to internal partners. Analyze survey data, provide guidance to Human Capital colleagues and leaders on questions relating to compensation, job evaluation and market analysis.
· Supporting the annual compensation planning cycle (January-March). Partner with Human Capital colleagues to execute deliverables on time and help identify changes to enhance administrative processes and timelines.
· Working collaboratively with other HR areas. You will come together to deliver compensation recommendations and support recruitment efforts taking into consideration internal equity and external competitive pay practices.
· Leverage existing tools and help determine future technology to improve the access and delivery of compensation data to key decision-makers. Evaluate systems and processes and advocate for improvements.
Stock Plan Administration:
· Learn the behind the scenes work in ongoing administration of our stock plan, in coordination with external vendor and internal Finance partners.
· Help facilitate the annual grant process, through data gathering, modeling, and supporting the review process.
· Support the set-up of new grants, vesting, activity and provide reports and analysis to manage the ongoing tracking of key data points.
Benefits

· Analyze participation and utilization for all benefits, use data to monitor trends and recommend educational initiatives, benefit plan changes, vendor changes, etc.
Overall Human Capital Team Involvement
· Enhance involvement in longer-term HR and Rewards projects. Have the opportunity on occasion to get involved in cross-functional projects, based on interest and availability.
· Collaborate with HR colleagues and leaders to review options and provide recommendations.
· Participate in the review, implementation, testing and maintenance of systems and technology to support compensation processes.
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Experience:
o At least 2 years of Compensation/Total Rewards experience with knowledge of market pricing data and analysis, annual compensation cycles, with interest and curiosity in learning other areas of Total Rewards.
o High-level proficiency in Excel.
o Some experience with Human Resources technology systems (HRIS, market pricing, annual compensation planning tools).
o Solid analytical skills and attention to detail which result in sound decisions, solutions, and recommendations
o Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, time-management, and organizational skills
o Ability to be successful in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment, handle multiple requests and ensure deadlines are met
o Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
o Ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information.
o Innovative problem-solving skills.
Education and/or Experience:
o Education – Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Human Resources related field.
o Progress towards a CCP designation or other HR-related certification is preferred.
Other:
Technology Skills: Strong PC skills and experience in Microsoft Office products.
Project Management Skills: Experience in managing small projects, with a focus on meeting timelines, collaboration, and results.
