The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of [1] Programmers/Developers, hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualifications of a Software Developer 2 Level and Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
Worker will be responsible for coding and testing of Java applications using Spring and JSF frameworks, Hibernate, Java web services, Tomcat application server and Oracle database on a team of 2 to 4 members. This full stack worker may assist in converting applications developed in legacy frameworks to Spring. The worker will also assist the team on new project initiatives as well as maintenance of existing applications. Worker will work under the direction of project lead or work independently and may assist in architecting and designing, researching, and prototyping, load testing, code quality checking, application security and other technical needs as required. Please note that JSF and Spring experience is required for this position.
