Jr Roofer

Our ideal Junior Roofer will be driven, self-motivated, customer service oriented, and capable of producing quality craftsmanship safely!

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials and tools from work trucks
• Lift roofing materials onto roof using pulleys or a ladder
• Safely remove existing roofing from home and clear debris from roof
• Install new roofing-composition, tile and single ply roofing according to manufacturer specifications
• Procuring necessary tools and materials to complete projects effectively and efficiently
• Repair and/or replace damaged sheathing, starter, fascia, and rafters
• Locate and repair cracked tiles, and fill in missing tiles
• Clear out gutters and drains
• Repair damage caused from storms and high winds
• Locate and fix leaks
• Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
• Effectively maintain project documentation and photo requirements
• Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to roofing procedures
• Managing site safety and ensuring sites are OSHA compliant

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of roofing or related construction experience
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, management and team members
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to work as a team
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Able to pass drug screening
• Ability to work at heights and in different weather conditions
• Good communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
