Position Overview:

Alkami is hiring a Director of FP&A who will be an integral part of the finance team and report to the VP of FP&A. The Director of FP&A will assist with the preparation of internal/external financial reporting and analysis, lead monthly business unit forecasts and the AOP, partner with Business unit leadership and perform financial ad hoc analysis.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Reviewing monthly, quarter to date and year to date financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year results with thoughtful analysis and commentary
• Forward looking and strategic mindset, managing multiple Business unit forecasts and the AOP
• Thoughtful analysis and reporting in support of quarterly BoD meetings and earnings call deliverables
• Ability to evaluate financial and business KPI’s, translating financial performance into actionable business insights
• Experience and proficiency updating and optimizing financial models
• Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to influence financial results through partnerships across the organization
• Partner with Business unit leadership to align strategic operational goals and financial objectives
• Provide decision support using financial modeling for special projects and investment initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Business Administration or related field
• 7 years’ work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in high pressure situations
• Self-driven, committed, and assertive
• High degree of proficiency with Excel
• Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous priorities

Desired Skills:

• SaaS-based software company experience
• Anaplan Financial software experience
• MBA
