- Position: Fulfillment Supervisor II
- Location: Tampa , FL
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p
POSITION DETAILS
Supervises and coordinates activities concerning Warehousing, Fulfillment, and Driver Delivery/Setup functions for assigned PHS sites. Multiple levels of this role exist and are dependent on a combination of factors including size and maturity of operations, number of employees, amount of revenue, number of locations and/or lines of service, etc.
- Drive overall satisfaction of patients related to orders and delivery of products and services while ensuring continued efficiencies and contribution to overall revenue and margin.
- Work as a leader to coordinate with other Supply Chain Management (SCM) leaders across PHS nationally in partnership with Procurement and BioMed teams to ensure people, equipment and supplies are positioned in the right locations at the right time to meet patient needs.
- Develops short and long-term strategies for SCM functions within the market(s) in partnership with local General Manager and leadership.
- Assigns and oversees the work activities, workload and priorities of employees engaged in warehousing, shipping/receiving, direct delivery, equipment setups and equipment processing.
- Ensures workers in all operational activities are appropriately trained for their role as well as to ensure safety and compliance with all workplace regulations.
- Schedules and oversees the inventory process to ensure maintenance of appropriate stock levels, checks for obsolescence, over stock and slow-moving stock in NetSuite.
- Will need to be able to work out of multiple systems.
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Monitors activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory and PHS policies.
- In partnership with Procurement, negotiates with vendors/manufacturers/suppliers to select and purchase supplies/equipment (Durable Medical Equipment (DME), new products, high-tech equipment) of high quality and best pricing. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Monitors complaints regarding supplies and equipment. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or service with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and takes corrective action.
- Oversees Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities for Operations and reports findings to management team.
- Responsible for management, maintenance, and ongoing monitoring of the site(s) vehicle fleet.
- Responsible for oversight of inventory management and order management for all functions including Respiratory, Clinical Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Infusion.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
