Physician Referral Analyst

SLP-tele develops and deploys the latest technology to provide in-home speech therapy services for children and adults with a wide range of communication disorders and conditions. As one of the largest providers of in-home speech therapy services, we are skilled in meeting the unique needs of each client. Our therapists treat clients in a familiar and conducive environment.

The Physician Referral Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships between healthcare organizations and physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Daily telephonic outreach to provider offices to drive awareness of SLP-tele to gain appointment confirmations for physician liaisons.
• Building relationships with physician offices and medical groups to increase referrals and awareness of SLP-tele and our services.
• Communicating and promoting the organization's offerings and programs to physicians and their staff.
• Organizing and participating in educational events, seminars, and workshops for physicians and staff.
• Gathering provider and office staff feedback to improve the organization's offerings and services.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and new developments in healthcare.
• Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure that physician needs and concerns are addressed.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of interactions and activities with physicians and their staff.

Preferred requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience working as a medical referral coordinator, preferably in a call center environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting, high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, a sense of urgency, and intuitive skills.
• Understanding of the healthcare industry
• Comfortable working with phones and scheduling appointments
• Ability to use all necessary office equipment, faxes, copiers, etc.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 10-6 CST

The pay range is equivalent to $45,000 annually-commensurate with experience and qualifications.
