Responsibilities:

• 
  Greet clients and their furry companions with a warm and friendly attitude.

• 
  Schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures accurately.
• 
  Sending appointment reminders 2 days prior to appointment
• 
  Check and process voicemail, triage phone calls, emails, and texts for techs and DVMs
• 
  Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information.
• 
  Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• 
  Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed.
• 
  Manage and maintain cleanliness of the reception area.
• 
  Handle financial transactions, including billing and invoicing.

• 
  Other possible duties, which include completing available continuing education, and other duties assigned to you.

Requirements:

• 
  Prior experience working as a veterinary receptionist is preferred.

• 
  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 
  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• 
  A passion for working with cats and providing exceptional customer service.
• 
  Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• 
  Proficient in basic computer skills and knowledge of veterinary software systems.

• 
  Minimum 1 year veterinary experience preferred but not required
