All Homecaring Inc. is a Medicare-Certidied home care agency that provides services in the Minneapolis/St. Paul 11 County Metro Area.
We are currently in need of dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA's).
Job Description:
The Personal Care Assistant provides personal hygine, dressing, feeding, nutrition and environmental support services for an in-home client. These services are included in a written plan of care by a health professional.
This position may require lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, transferring up to 80 lbs., stooping, stretching, walking, pushing, pulling, partial or complete assistance with activities of daily living without assistance from another health care worker or significant other.
The PCA observes and reports significant changes in the status of the client; Accurately records observations and completed tasks, preparing and submitting timely documentation in accordance to policy.
The PCA is responsible for additional duties, which may be assigned in response to clients needs:
- Supervising and assisting with activities of daily living (ADL's)
- Providing personal care and designated health-related services
- Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, other health care personnel, documentation and business concerns
- Reports changes in client condition and needs to supervising health care professional
- Assisting clients with self-help
- Using special equipment
- Turning or positioning patiens
- Assisting with ambulation
- Assisting with client's personal needs
