Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining inventory levels of the assigned products and services sold throughout the After Sales Service organization in order to meet or exceed industry leading levels of product availability and customer service:
This position is responsible for maintaining inventory levels of the assigned products and services sold throughout the After Sales Service organization in order to meet or exceed industry leading levels of product availability and customer service:
- Review and analyze daily Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system outputs for assigned products and services. Analyze inventory levels, replenishment lead times, and product demand to determine appropriate order quantities. Issue purchase orders, communicate to assigned suppliers, expedite materials when necessary.
- Material Master Data Maintenance - Review/Analyze/Adjust appropriate planning parameters in the MRP systems to maximize part availability and minimize inventory levels. Maintain provided list prices, volume rebate groups, sales organization data, and other required data in computer systems.
- Process data entry transactions - Process goods receipts, create transport orders, create material movement transactions, process scrap transactions, process material to material conversions for reconditioned product, and other inventory transactions as required.
- Create/analyze daily and monthly reports.
- Communicate directly with key accounts to process orders and provide feedback. Monitor daily service and repair backorders for appropriate actions.
- Miscellaneous duties and special projects as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree or 8 years business or supply chain or related experience.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of business, sales forecasting and inventory management principles and theories.
- Possess good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Must be articulate and able to communicate effectively with others including co-workers, customers and suppliers.
- Ability to be flexible, shift gears, multi-task and work quickly in a fast- paced environment.
