We are searching for a committed, proactive Assistant General Manager who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will promote and grow the business, hire, and train staff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. This position focuses on the day-to-day operational aspects of the entire restaurant.

Basic Duties:

• Manage high-volume
• Open-mindedness, an ability to learn, be challenged, problem solve and work well with a diverse group of people
• Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
• Maintain compliance with food, health, safety, and security standards
• Versed in writing schedules and meeting or beating budgeted labor cost through effective management
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years current, salaried management experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar
• Strong organizational skills to manage the needs of the restaurant
• Detailed oriented
• Must be, or willing to be serv safe complaint
• Communication skills to inspire and motivate consistency and excellence
• Strong believe in professional and ethical approach to leading, motivating and developing staff
