We’re seeking a solutions-focused Accounting Manager with an enthusiastic mindset to join our team and help support our internal accounting operations. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate and timely financial information to assist leaders in making strategic decisions for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Day-to-day you’ll be working with our internal Finance & Administration team to model a first-class experience for both our internal and client delivery teams.

Wearing multiple hats and saying "yes" to a variety of challenges are the table stakes. Your specific responsibilities include:
- Nurture trusting relationships with the AIOA team.
- Prioritize work with competing deadlines to maximize efficiencies and impact.
- Design and deliver exemplary service; this role is a thinker and a doer - you will be creating journal entries to adjust general ledger one moment and the next defining policies and procedures.
The specifics:
- Establish and maintain a chart of accounts to facilitate accurate and timely financials.
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and issue client invoices and regularly review accounts receivable to manage collections process.
- Create and monitor adherence to policies for corporate credit card use.
- Make necessary month end closing entries.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other schedules as requested.
- Maintain annual budget, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues.
- Process payroll, ensure proper entry in general ledger, and make 401K deposits.
- Reconcile premiums for employee benefit plans.
- Record vendor invoices and process for payment.
- Set up new clients in billing platform, maintaining current contact, payment, and bill rate data.
- Assist others as requested to achieve department-wide initiatives
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience
- Working knowledge or willing to obtain knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop/Online
- Ability to work with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proven track record of being a self-starter
- A natural propensity to be a team player
- Critical thinking skills to be able to identify issues and propose viable solutions
