The Life Enrichment coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Life Enrichment in planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of residents and conducive to their physical, mental, and social well-being.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator will report to the Director of Life Enrichment and uphold the community’s mission, philosophy, values and the Company’s vision, principles and Hospitality Promises to residents, families, and all visitors.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and conducting all resident activities including special events following the Life Enrichment programs (Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program) on a monthly basis. Ensure active facilitation and successful implementation of the LCS Extraordinary Impressions hospitality program, LCS Cares Program and the Lifestyle & Healthy Services Program.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of a balanced program of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in some area of lifestyle activity.
- Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees. This is a whole-person approach to health and wellness which includes eight dimensions of wellness: Emotional, Environmental, Health Services, Intellectual, Physical, Social, Spiritual and Vocational. Ensure and exceed residents’ wellness needs relating to their mind, body, and soul, which may also have a positive effect on the employees, as a result.
- Assist in tracking of activity participation for all Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
- Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards.
- Assist in gathering each resident’s interests through the Social Spiritual History Assessment for planning person-centered approach activities.
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
- Assist with gathering information, articles, and photos for the newsletter.
- May be responsible for transporting residents to appointments, as well as regular and special recreational outings.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
- Observe all community safety policies and procedures.
- Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Six months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be artistically creative, motivational, and energetic with a passion for serving others.
- Must possess patience and sensitivity to others’ needs; ability to work with community groups; willingness to work beyond normal working hours.
- Familiarity with required electronics, including but not limited to iPad, tablets, smart TV’s, and digital cameras.
- Ability to multi-task, balance individual responsibilities, and respond promptly to resident and visitor needs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Knowledgeable and observant of infection control procedures.
- Observant of all community safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.
- Must possess a current driver’s license as driving of the company vehicles will be necessary at times.
- Must possess personal driving record consistent with the requirements of the Driver Selection Policy.
